Case study · Zappter EngineTen contractors. One slot engine.
Slots follow the region, the installation type and the time of day, so what customers can book matches what the contractors can really deliver.

Open Dutch Fiber builds and operates open fibre networks in the Netherlands. More than ten contractors do the installations and several wholesale partners sell the network. Every installation needs an appointment that all of them can see and keep. ODF wanted one booking engine for it, designed, built and piloted within two months.
Three weeks to the pilot
During the pilot the team changed the process 25 times. Each change was live in less than a week.
One engine for customers, contractors and partners
The customer picks the day and the time slot directly.
More than ten contractors work from the same slots.
The system suggests the most efficient slot and shows nearby bookings, so routes stay short.
Partners query, book and cancel slots, also by address ID. Data goes to the data warehouse.
Slots that match what can be delivered
Every area has its own capacity.
Low-rise, patch-only, migrations: each has its own slots.
Morning and afternoon slots, offered and free.
A slot opens only when the work can be prepared.
Better installations, matched capacity
The NPS for installations went up.
Installation times went down.
Partner demand and contractor capacity are matched in one place.
