Article Groups

‘Little bit of everything but pay by weight’ if you’re trying to add this concept, this plugin is for you. Let diners pile their platter with favorite items and still pay for the weight. This plugin helps setup participating articles, pricing, quantities, measures & consumption rules.

The Plugin

The plugin is ideal for the growing concept of 'Pay What You Weight' and similar uses.
Example 1:
You sell a nuts package, "1 kg Nuts" for 3 USD.
Your customers can choose any nuts, almonds, cashews, chestnuts, and peanuts.
Your customers can also select any quantity. However, the final weight of the package must not exceed 1 kilogram.
So here the package, 1 kg Nut is an article group.  And, this article group is made of individual articles, almonds, cashew, chestnuts, and peanuts.
Example 2:
Imagine a business selling candy. They have an article group, "A Kilo of Sweetness."
The group contains articles like Gummy Bears (100 grams), Gourmet Lollipops  (50 grams), Candy Canes (250 grams).  Gummy Bears, Gourmet Lollipops, and Candy Canes are articles. They make the article group (or the package), A Kilo of Sweetness.
We can order this article group and select 4 Gummy Bears (400 grams), 2 Gourmet Lollipops (100 grams), and 2 Candy Canes (500 grams). We ordered 1 kilo of candies, but we decided the quantity of each article to our preference.
