Integrating MailerLite

In order to integrate MailerLite with Zappter, you need to obtain MailerLite API key and Group Link and enter into Zappter.
How to obtain MailerLite API & Group Link?
1. Log in to your MailerLite account. In your dashboard, go to the user icon on the top right corner and select Integrations.

2. Click on the 'Use' next to Developer API.

3. Copy/note down the API key and the Subscriber group information that you will enter into Zappter as described in the next section.
Entering MailerLite API key and Group Link into Zappter:
1. Admin > Settings > Mailerlite. Under the General tab, enter the Mailerlite API key and Default Group Link that you obtained from previous section and save.

Group is MailerLite's 'email list' (mailing list)
2. Move on to the 'Settings' tab. Provide your users with an option to opt-in to receiving newsletters from your app. This comes on the user registration form.

  • Enable Opt-In: Enable or disable the option on the user registration form to opt-in. If you don't select this option, all users are consented to receive emails from your app by default.
  • Checkbox Text: Customize the text displayed to the users with this opt-in. Default is "I would like to subscribe to the newsletter"
3. Save changes to complete the setup.
