This section explains how to set up your app to handle your Tips and Gratuity.
1. Admin > Settings > Tips.
2. In the 'General' tab, choose an option to charge, whether a flat amount or a percentage of the basket value. Enter the percentage or flat amount under the 'Value.' Click on the 'Add' button.
'Predefined amount' is used if you're creating a 'cover charge' where the same amount gets added to the bills - usually in restaurants, bars, and night clubs.
3. In the 'Appearance' tab, enter the title and the description that appears on guest devices when ordering.
4. In the 'Settings' tab, set if customers are allowed to pay any amount. And if it is mandatory to select tips before they can complete the order.
